You should come and see if you visit to Hiroshima! Just paying 50yen.You will know something what happened here on August 6th 1945

The museum is under (re)construction at the moment with the new wing to open 2019. However don’t let that put you off visiting there’s still plenty on display.

Part of the Museum is under renovation, it can be very crowded. Entrance is 50 ¥ only and don't forget to stamp the post card you get with the ticket

Another must-do in Hiroshima. 200¥ entrance is a steal given the powerful exhibits. We spent a good hour and a half here slowly walking through.

広島原爆の惨状を後世に伝えるために広島平和会館原爆記念陳列館として開館した。本館は重要文化財で、観覧は東館から入場し本館から退出するというコースが取られている。特によく知られているのは被爆者等身大ジオラマ、三位一体の遺品や黒焦げの弁当多数となる遺品、人影の石など。退出前に専用のノートに閲覧の感想を書き記すコーナーもあり、その中には多くの著名人・要人も含まれている。

【国指定重要文化財】…指定は西側にある「本館」です。観覧は「東館」から入場しますが、東館は原爆投下までの広島市の歴史や原爆投下の歴史的背景に関する展示が行われています。そのあと空中回廊で繋がれた「本館」に渡り、広島原爆の人的・物的被害に関する展示を見るのとができます。
